The history of Saint Nazaire<\/span><\/h1>

Mid-19th century, Saint Nazaire<\/strong><\/a> became Nantes’outer harbor<\/strong>, then the leading shipyard<\/strong>. It became the departure and arrival point for Mexico and the West Indies. But everything changed during the 2nd World War, when the German army decided to set up its headquarters here.  submarine base<\/strong>, and the town suffers Allied bombing raids<\/strong> aimed at destroying it. Now rebuilt,  Saint Nazaire<\/strong> is a dynamic city, continuing to build on its success.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n
