The Marais de Bri\u00e8re, a protected area<\/span><\/h1>

The Camping La Roseraie in La Baule<\/strong> invites you to climb aboard a traditional boat and discover the magnificent landscapes of the Bri\u00e8re regional nature park<\/strong><\/a>. You’ll stroll through a mosaic of reed beds, meadows, small lakes, canals and hillocks. <\/p>

A protected natural<\/strong> area, the Bri\u00e8re marsh is known as one of Europe’s richest wetlands<\/strong>.<\/p>

For a very long time, the Bri\u00e9rons fed off the riches of the marsh by fishing and hunting. They cut the  reeds<\/strong> to cover the roofs of their dwellings and heated themselves with the peat<\/strong>. This has ensured the marsh’s long-term survival and natural maintenance. <\/p>

The Bri\u00e8re nature park<\/strong> is home to many species of birds<\/strong>, making it an excellent observatory<\/strong> for birdwatchers.<\/p>

You’ll be able to observe remarkable landscapes with reedbeds<\/strong>, wet meadows<\/strong>, lakes<\/strong>, canals and the salt marshes of Le M\u00e8s<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n
